Hey! So my name is Angela. I am a third year here at UF majoring in Health Education with a minor in African Studies. I am SOOO excited about going to Honduras this summer! I am in charge of finances and last Wednesday was when we sent out our first shipment of checks to GCLA. One half of the money was due, and we just about hit that mark! A lot of the people going are support raising- sending out letters to family and friends and asking these people to support them financially on their trip to Honduras. It has been really awesome to talk to people and see how God has been providing for them. I know that in my own expereience, I was getting pretty discouraged. When the half way amount was due, I did not have all of it, and I hadn't received a check in over two weeks. I wasn't sure if I would be getting anymore supporters and was trying to think of other ways to get some money. But God has been so faithful! Since last Wednesday when we sent out the money, I have recieved another $250 of support! That puts me just past the halfway point! Praise God! i am excited to see how God will continue to stretch me in my faith in this last month of support rasing. Please continue to keep those who are support rasing in your prayers as i know of others who are struggling to meet their financial requirements.
